FullArmor announced the release of PolicyPatrol, a Web services-based product that automatically enforces Active Directory Group Policy settings on machines that are temporarily or permanently disconnected from the directory. Based on Microsoft’s 64-bit Windows Server 2003 R2 platform, PolicyPatrol can scalably maintain security configurations on an organization’s Windows-based endpoints.

Pole Position Software’s desktop management solution, LANrev Management Software, offers deeper integration with Microsoft’s Systems Management Server (SMS) with the release of version 1.5. This allows LANrev to transfer Macintosh files to the SMS database. Other features include enhanced performance overall and application improvements.

Scribe Software Corp. released Scribe Adapter for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. With Scribe Insight, the program allows users to interact with Microsoft CRM Web services API through a GUI and migrate customer data from a variety of systems.

InstallAware Software Corp. released InstallAware 5 for Windows Installer, software tool for building and repackaging installations on Windows, .NET, IIS and SQL Server platforms. InstallAware 5 features tighter compression, partial Web deployment, improved setup authoring process, and new scripting enhancements. Available in four editions, with prices starting at $199.

Bamboo Solutions Corp. announced the launch of its online store for its suite of developer tools for Microsoft Office 2003 and SharePoint. These tools include Helper Web Parts, Business Components and Solution Accelerators.

Lamantine Software released version 2.6 of Sticky Password, a program that automatically fills out forms and manages passwords. Priced at $24.95.

A new security software solution called TrustDefender GAP helps protects users against identity theft by authenticating Web servers. The program analyzes all outgoing Internet transmissions on a user’s computer and checks Web sites against a database of blacklisted sites from third-party providers like Microsoft and Netcraft.
