Silverfort Extends Identity Controls to AI Agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio
Silverfort has announced an integration with Microsoft Copilot Studio designed to bring identity security and access controls to AI agents operating in enterprise environments. The integration enables organizations to apply identity governance policies to AI agents created in Copilot Studio, helping manage authentication, permissions and access to corporate resources. The goal is to ensure AI agents are subject to the same security controls as human users and service accounts. Silverfort is working closely with Microsoft to develop various AI-focused security features.
AI agents created in Copilot Studio can authenticate, retrieve enterprise data, trigger workflows and interact with enterprise systems across cloud and on-prem environments. Silverfort extends Identity Security beyond Copilot Studio to deliver unified visibility and control across Copilot Studio AI agents, human identities, non-human identities and external and third-party AI agents. This integration reflects Silverfort’s broader strategy to secure AI as identity becomes a primary control plane for enterprises.
