Scality Adds Automated Failover for Veeam to Improve Cyber Resiliency

Scality has introduced automated High Availability (HA) failover capabilities for environments using Veeam, targeting improved resilience for backup and recovery operations, with the launch of ARTESCA+ Veeam HA. The feature enables automatic failover between storage resources, reducing the need for manual intervention during outages or system failures. The integration is designed to help ensure continuous access to backup data and maintain recovery readiness.  Delivering triple HA, organizations can leverage an always-on backup infrastructure that leverages Veeam's Data Platform. ARTESCA is Scality’s backup-first object storage solution, purpose-built to make backup data truly untouchable.

Scality provides software-defined storage solutions, and the update focuses on strengthening integration with Veeam’s data protection platform. The goal is to simplify how organizations manage availability across distributed storage environments while minimizing disruption. High availability remains a key requirement for enterprise data protection strategies, particularly as organizations rely on backup systems to support cyber recovery and business continuity. The company said, "Scality ARTESCA+ Veeam and the integrated high-availability features makes it easier for customers to adopt immutable backups without adding complexity."
