Aelita Adds Migration Tools

Aelita Software inserted three new tools in its suite of Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000 migration and coexistence applications.

The tools are DC Demote Wizard, SQL Processing Wizard and NDS Password Synchronization Kit.

DC Demote Wizard is for migration of Windows NT 4.0 domain controllers to an Active Directory forest without losing domain controller resources and security settings.

SQL Processing Wizard automatically reconfigures database security settings on SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000 to reflect migration of user accounts to Active Directory.

NDS Password Synchronization Kit securely transfers Novell Directory Services passwords to new Active Directory accounts.

Evaluation versions of the tools are available at Aelita's Web site.

Aelita plans to add an Exchange Migration Wizard and an Enterprise Directory Manager to its Aelita Controlled Migration Suite this summer.
