Support.com Releases Version 5.0

Support infrastructure provider Support.com has issued Version 5.0 of its software. The company believes that the new version will allow IT departments to better serve their end users.

Version 5.0 features new Scorecard capablilities. The Scorecard provides information about the IT environment, and gives metrics on system use and potential problems.

The SmartResult System offers relevant solutions for resolving support issues. It offers solutions to both IT staff and end users, allowing some users to perform their own support tasks.

The Resolution Integration Toolkit offers internal developers and end users the ability to customize Version 5.0 and create branded support portals.

Application Triggers allow users to set up business applications to alert the support system when certain events occur.
