Ravensquest Software Inc. released wApps 1.0, a development environment for WML applications.

A wApps site consists of a group of applications, with search, browse, and detail screens, and can support add, edit, and delete functionality. PIN-based security can also be added. Database access is via OLE DB or ODBC drivers, supporting Oracle, SQL Server, Access, and several other databases.

WApps consists of a setup .exe which is installed on an NT or Windows 2000 server. The setup kit installs an IIS application .dll and a configuration wizard.
