NTP Releases Quota Management Solution

NTP Software announced the launch of a new quota management solution, NTP Software Quota Sentinel. With true-time monitoring and enforcement of disk space limits on directories, shares, and servers, Quota Sentinel provides an enterprise storage management solution with single-seat administration.

Quota Sentinel includes Enterprise Application Services Extension (EASE) technology, which provides a unified management infrastructure for distributing application configurations. As a result administrators will find it easy to develop and enforce sound storage management policies using Quota Sentinel.

Administrators can limit size of network objects, set storage limits for individual users, prohibit certain file types, and ensure disk availability through overbooking.
