Microsoft finally releases SQL Server 2000 to manufacturing; official release will target mid-September.

Microsoft released SQL Server 2000 to manufacturing. According to a report in Smart Reseller, Microsoft has released SQL Server 2000 to manufacturing. The report goes on to mention that it marks the debut of a product based upon Microsoft's highly flaunted DNA server architecture. This release of SQL Server 2000, which has improved data mining capabilities and support for the XML format, will make its official debut in mid-September.
