4D Announces New WebSTAR

4D Inc. announced plans to deliver a new version of WebSTAR Server suite.

The new release will include improvements to the core feature sets of the Web, FTP and mail servers. Some of these improvements are upgraded HTTP 1.1 byte-range support, better performance and reliability to the WebSTAR mail server, and an updated search engine that will support Web-crawling, indexing and searches of western European and Asian languages.

WebSTAR Server suite will be offered as a free update for current version 4.0 customers.

More specific feature improvements and product availability will be announced in upcoming weeks.
