Mission Critical Releases Domain Migration Administrator 6.0

Mission Critical Software Inc. released its Domain Migration Administrator 6.0, a set of tools to aid in the enterprise's migration to Windows 2000.

The software provides a task-based user interface, preview and rollback capabilities, extensive reporting features, and "prune and graft" support. Version 6.0 extends the capabilities of the original software by providing advanced migration features, including automation, modeling, and reporting capabilities, model and prototype migration scenarios, mixed-mode management for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 environments, and rapid migration from Windows NT or NetWare to Windows 2000.

Other features include automated drag-and-drop OU modeling and rapid OU reconfiguration to ensure the best possible Active Directory design; a project-based, database driven engine that allows the migration to be tracked; and scalable and open COM-based architecture.
