OTG Launches Storage Management Package for W2K

OTG Software, a provider of data storage management for Windows NT, will release its Windows 2000 storage solution, DiskXtender 2000. DiskXtener 2000 is designed to improve the flexibility, scalability, and performance of Windows 2000. It is compatible with Windows 2000 initiatives such as remote storage management, removable storage media, and network and Web administration.

DiskXtender 2000 features a new, distributed agent architecture, support for third-party media services, and tighter integration with Web browswers. Its server-less architecture improves its scalability with storage area networks (SANs) and network attached storage (NAS). DiskXtender 2000 is the cornerstone product in OTG's XtenderSolutions suite.
