devSoft Ships New Java Beans Package

devSoft Inc. has begun shipping IP*Works! Java Edition, a Pure Java version of its IP*Works! Internet Toolkit. The package consists of 20 Java Beans for Internet programming.

IP*Works! is now in its fourth version and is available for several programming languages, including ActiveX Controls, C++ Classes, C Libraries, Native Delphi and C++ Builder VCLs, and now JavaBeans. IP*Works! contains high-level programmable components such as interfaces to Internet Mail and Usenet News, as well as TCP/IP programming tools to build generic clients and servers. IP*Works! Java Edition is portable across platforms, and includes many standard Internet protocols, including e-mail protocols SMTP, POP, IMAP, MIME ; LDAP; FTP and HTTP; remote host access; and SNMP, IPInfo, ICMPPort, and MX.

IP*Works! Java Edition is currently available.
