NovaStor Releases Online Backup Software

NovaStor Corp. has announced the release of NovaNet-Web 3.0, the latest version of their online backup software. NovaNet-Web 3.0 includes several new security features, including Tamper Proof Client, Recover from Image, and Stealth Backup.

Tamper Proof Client gives administrators the ability to "lock down" over 20 different client software elements to prevent unauthorized modification of the backup settings. Tamper Proof options can be configured at any time for any user. Recover from Image feature takes advantage of existing corporate PC procurement procedures to simplify disaster recovery. Most corporations with a large installed base have a standard installation for desktops to minimize technical support. Rather than back up the entire installation, NovaNet-Web can be configured to back up only the files that are unique to each user. This significantly reduces the storage space required and increases backup speed for end users. Stealth Backup allows backups to be made silently during working hours, while users work on their computers without interruption.

NovaNet-Web 3.0 also offers integration with the Windows NT Performance Monitor. The NovaNet-Web server shows over 25 data points that can be viewed in real-time or tracked over a period of time.
