New Exam Engine, Simulation Questions

Transcender announced beta versions of two exam prep tools, InternetCert 4.0 and Win95Cert 4.0, that contain, among several updated features, a new test engine. Both tools contain the new test engine, allowing you to use the three preset exams in the traditional testing mode or to create an exam by randomly culling questions from the three presets. The tools also have a new feature that lets you print the entire exam or selected portions.

Like the IIS 4.0 exam, a new feature of the InternetCert 4.0 tool is the addition of simulation questions, which require you to perform given tasks in a simulated IIS 4.0 environment. Simulation questions are followed up with a multimedia explanation of the correct answers.

InternetCert 4.0 has three exams with 60 questions each; it's $179. Win95Cert 4.0 contains six exams with 49 items each; it's $149. Transcender Corp., http://www.transcender.com.
