Microsoft Stock Price at 4-Year High
Microsoft's stock price today reached a new high since four years ago.
The stock closed at $31.28 today, marking a near three-point increase compared with the price at about the same period in 2008. A Yahoo Finance chart reports the selling price of Microsoft's stock as $28.42 on Feb. 11, 2008.

Microsoft has been making the rounds with financial analysts this week, explaining its business vision. The company is also preparing to release a "consumer preview" beta of Windows 8, its next-generation client operating system, at the end of this month. Otherwise, there seems to be no obvious explanation for the uptick. Stock prices fluctuate all of the time.
