Things are heating up in the enterprise messaging and collaboration market, which remains a tight contest between Microsoft and IBM Lotus. This month IBM released the long-awaited R6 of its Lotus Domino/Notes suite, with a heavy emphasis on TCO. Meanwhile, Microsoft called the faithful to Anaheim, Calif. for the Microsoft Exchange Conference to learn about the future of Exchange and Outlook.
