Observer 7.1 Features VoIP Filtering

Network Instruments LLC announced the release of version 7.1 of its Observer network monitor and LAN/SNMP troubleshooting tool. The new release includes several enhancements.

New features in Observer 7.1 include remote Probe auto-update, which detects the Probe version and updates the Probe automatically if necessary; an option to filter for VoIP packets; support of several new protocols; a custom decode development kit for owners of Observer Suite; and an enhanced pager notification system.
