Readers React to Windows Price Hike

Monday I brought you a report that in some cases enterprise customers renewing Windows licenses could see a 43 percent price increase. I also asked how Microsoft licensing compares to other vendors. I got feedback on both counts.

Some readers claimed I am a Microsoft basher and a shill for the company trying to sell reports about Microsoft licensing. I try to never sweep a good bashing under the carpet.

Speaking of bashing, a few of you slammed other vendors, Oracle in particular, though Adobe and CA also took a hit or two.
