CommVault Locks and Loads with Galaxy Enterprise 2000

CommVault has released version 2.6 of its Galaxy Enterprise 2000 storage management software. Galaxy Enterprise 2000 is designed to manage, backup and recover storage on heterogeneous networks.

New features in 2.6 include support for Oracle 8i databases on both Solaris and Windows NT/2000. Solaris support is expanded in this release, unifying support for Sun’s flavor of Unix.

The software also gains the ability to manage and recover storage attached to clustered environments. Galaxy Enterprise 2000. The CommServe StorageManager software module now operates when installed on clustered servers.
