Unified Communications (UC) finds itself dead center in the middle of a Perfect Storm! Faster, zero-latency communication services are becoming available. The way people work has changed and is still changing even more. Technology providers have clearly embraced the importance of integrating their products to better serve customers. All of this changes the way in which we interface with and use UC. We become more facil with changing from text to call to video and communicating in whichever way we please.
With more and more customers adopting Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) we shouldn’t lose track of another acronym – UC&C. Unified Communications and Collaboration. Microsoft Teams was first introduced as a way to share applications and documents to collaborate in which you could also text message your colleagues. Today it has risen to the upper rightmost corner of the magic triangle as it becomes a complete environment for UC&C expanding beyond the internet by incorporating the public switched telephone network (PSTN) through enterprise-level carrier/partners.
What will come of all this change? With so many elements in flux it becomes difficult to predict what the outcomes will be. In this session, Senior Resultant Howard M. Cohen takes on this excellent challenge and talks about the future UC developments he sees as most likely. Stimulate your imagination to inform your future planning. Join use for a look at the Future of United Communications & Teams.
