Throughout his career, Edward has successfully brought numerous data protection offerings to market on a global scale, fueled by his start as a cloud service provider. He has a passion for communicating the value of protecting cloud-based workloads and helping organizations succeed in all their backup needs.
Karinne Bessette, Technologist, Product Strategy Technology Team
Karinne Bessette is a Technologist at Veeam within the Product Strategy teams. She has a strong technical background in network and security with certifications from Cisco for Security (CCNA) and Routing & Switching (CCNA) as well as CompTIA Network+ and Security +. She is well versed in multiple Operating Systems achieving Linux Professional Institutes Essentials and CompTIA A+ certifications. She has developed project management skills to self-manage tasks in a goal-oriented fashion obtaining the Project+ from CompTIA. In her time at Veeam she has written and updated documentation, completed VMCE certification, lead a team as a Technical Senior, and has pushed to obtain technical knowledge outside just the scope of her role.
Archana Venkatraman, Associate Research Director, Cloud Data Management, IDC Europe
Archana’s primary research coverage is cloud data management. She covers multiple topics including data protection, edge to cloud data trends, application and data availability, compliance, data integration, intelligent data management, DataOps, data quality, and multicloud priorities and trends.
Archana is also a co-lead of the cloud practice and an active contributor to IDC’s Europe’s DevOps and AI research practices.
Before joining IDC, Venkatraman was the datacenter editor at Computer Weekly, the digital magazine and website for IT professionals based in London, where she focused on datacenters, server virtualization, storage, open source technologies, software-defined infrastructures, and cloud computing, liaising with enterprise CIOs and technology vendors to develop deeper insight into the enterprise IT industry. Venkatraman has a master's degree in journalism from Mumbai University.
