Office 365 Security Checklist: Quick Steps You Can Take Now to Improve Your Security Posture
Date: Friday, October 23rd at 9 a.m. PDT / 12 noon PDT
As Office 365 continues to become more widely used, ensuring comprehensive security is more important than ever. The pandemic seems to have had an impact on that. Today, it’s estimated that one out of every five corporate users works from an Office 365 cloud service. That figure is up from less than 7% just nine months ago. Microsoft has a handful of recommendations they provide to ensure your Office 365 installation has a solid security posture.
During this opening session in our Office 365 security summit, we’ll run through some of those Microsoft recommendations, as well as hear from our expert speaker who will give his unique tips and tricks to keep Office 365 secure.
We will also point out how you can check your security status with the Microsoft 365 Secure Score in the Microsoft 365 security center. From a centralized dashboard, you can monitor the security levels of your Microsoft 365 identities, data, apps, and devices.
You’ll be able to increase that score by configuring recommended security features, performing security-related tasks and updates, or bringing third party security software on board. All these efforts add up to increased security for your Office 365 installations.
This summit is composed of three important 55-minute sessions. When you sign up, you are registered to attend all three sessions.
