Microsoft Office Beta 2010 Expires on Halloween

Microsoft announced it will be ending the beta version of its Microsoft Office 2010 Suite on Oct. 31.

According to The Microsoft Office Blog, the beta has been downloaded over 9 million time since its availability on Nov. 16, 2009. The count was more than six times the amount of downloads the Office 2007 beta received.

The commercial version hit shelves on June 15 of this year, via download and retail copy. When moving to the official version, the beta must be completely uninstalled before installing.

While the beta may be coming to a close, a 60-day trial version can also be downloaded here for those still on the fence.
