Virtual Server 2005 Available on MSDN

An MSDN subscription will net you a copy of Virtual Server 2005.

Microsoft unveiled the addition to the Microsoft Developer Network program last week during the Professional Developers Conference. Specifically, subscribers to MSDN Enterprise, Universal and the future Premium version will get Virtual Server 2005 Standard Edition.

The subscriptions are limited to single-user licensees for design, development, test and demonstration purposes only, Ward Ralston wrote on the official Microsoft Windows Server blog.

Microsoft had previously made Virtual Server available on MSDN between Sept. 14, 2004 and March 31, 2005. The Standard Edition retails for $500.
