Security exam to face scrutiny of beta testers Oct. 10-17.

Microsoft plans to beta test Exam 70-214, Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network from Oct. 10 to 17. While in beta, the exam will be numbered 71-214.

Since July 2000, Microsoft has offered another security exam, numbered 70-220, that's aimed at MCSEs whose job role includes planning and designing a security methodology.
