Objectives Guides for .NET Exams Now Online

New exams guides for Microsoft's developer tracks now available; details beta dates.

Microsoft just last week posted exam objective guides for the .NET exams. Those exams are components of the revamped MCSD for Microsoft .NET and newly created Microsoft Certified Application Developer for Microsoft .NET titles that the company announced last month:

Microsoft has yet to post guides for three other exams required for completing the developer tracks:

  • 70-310, Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Visual Basic .NET and the .NET Framework
  • 70-320, Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Visual C# and the .NET Framework
  • 70-300, Analyzing Requirements and Defining .NET Solution Architectures

The MCAD.NET requirements can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/mcad/resources.asp; the new MCSD.NET requirements can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/mcsd/requirementsdotnet.asp.

Beta exams are free, but you must be chosen to participate. Microsoft picks beta participants from MCP Newsflash newsletter subscribers and using a proprietary selection process; to find out more, go to http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcpexams/status/beta.asp.
