MCP+SB

A specialization aimed at those who design and deploy Web-based systems. (Retired)

The MCP+Site Building certification was discontinued January 1, 2002, since Microsoft Corp. began discontinuing many of the exams for this track beginning June 30, 2001.

For those who did earn the certification when it was available, an MCP+Site Building certification was proof of one's ability to plan, build, maintain, and manage Web sites with Microsoft technologies. The certification was aimed at Web developers, Web site producers, Web site managers, and Webmasters.

Those who achieved the certification are natural candidates for some of the exams under the developer-oriented MCAD and MCSD certifications.

The MCP+Site Building certification topped out at 2,040 titles issued worldwide, according to data from Microsoft (see http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/certified.asp.
