MCP+I

For MCPs who specialize in internetworking using Microsoft technology. (Retired)

The MCP+Internet certification was discontinued January 1, 2002, since the exams leading to this skill set retired at the end of February 2001. It's been suggested that Microsoft has considered the skills of an Internet professional to be an inherent part of anyone involved in Windows internetworking. Thus, Microsoft has added Internet-related questions into all of the exams and assumes that candidates should already plan to hone their skills with Internet technology in mind.

Microsoft may no longer offer the certification, but if you've managed to obtain it, it's your certification for life. A total of 229,133 MCP+Internet titles were issued worldwide, according to data from Microsoft (see http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/certified.asp.
