Strengthen Operational Resilience with Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR)
Date: Thursday, April 20 at 11am PT / 2pm ET
Operational resilience today depends on your ability to prevent and quickly recover from the disruptions caused by cyberattacks. For most organizations, identity-first security is the key to such resilience.
Active Directory (AD) has long been a prime attack vector that cybercriminals love to exploit. But by deploying a strong Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) strategy, you can identify and address AD and Azure AD vulnerabilities, hardening your defenses against identity-related attacks and improving operational resilience.
In this webinar, Semperis Solutions Architect, Alexandra Weaver, walks you through the connection between ITDR and operational resilience, recent identity-related cyberattacks, how threat actors breach AD and Azure AD, and how you can close common attack entry points. You’ll learn:
- Why ITDR is key to operational resilience
- Common tactics that threat actors use to target AD/Azure AD as an entry point into your environment
- How to detect vulnerabilities in hybrid AD environments, including indicators of exposure (IOEs) and indicators of compromise (IOCs)
- How to guard against attacks that bypass traditional logging methods
- How to ensure, a fast, clean AD forest recovery post-attack
About the presenters:
Alexandra Weaver, Solutions Architect, Semperis
Alexandra has twenty years’ experience supporting Active Directory in a wide variety of organizations, from government to some of the world's best-known companies. After 8 years supporting the Bureau of Land Management's Active Directory, she moved to Intel to support their worldwide corporate and manufacturing forests. After some time in financial services IT, she moved to Nike where she also supported their worldwide production forest. Her experience has included merger & acquisition projects where she migrated newly acquired companies into an existing Active Directory infrastructure, an Identity and Access Management implementation & migration project, upgrading domain controllers and associated downstream dependent applications and providing Active Directory support. Active Directory is Alexandra’s first tech passion, and she enjoys deep diving into it as associated technologies continue to evolve.
