Over the last few years there has been a dramatic change in the attack surface for organizations and keeping those systems safe from intrusion and exploitation is a complex effort. Cloud based firewalls provide a massive global capability to protect web applications from attacks on vulnerable hosts, but also can enforce end-point security configurations before access to those applications even occurs.
The capability has so many possibilities and is far more flexible and “intelligent” then on premise firewall infrastructure. One of the many challenges organizations faces is ensuring vendors and suppliers have remote access to specific hosts to provide support services. Cloud based firewalls provide more flexibility and manageability in dynamic networking environments and ensure connections are safe, compliant, and optimized.
Join Ian Thornton-Trump CD, CISO of Cyjax who has recent experience with a global deployment of Cloud based firewall technology and learn from his successes and challenges.
