Leveraging AIOps and Service Intelligence for Active Incident Response
Date: Thursday, March 24 at 11am PT / 2pm ET
Artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) combines big data and machine learning to automate IT operations processes, including event correlation, anomaly detection, and causality determination. That's the way the industry analysts at Gartner defined the term they coined in 2017. Since then, this concept has gained considerable traction in the enterprise, and AIOps is certain to play a critical role in the future of IT operations.
Missing from Gartner's definition, however, is an essential concept: Service Intelligence, which shows you how your end customer is impacted, and allows teams to respond meaningfully. Event correlation is useful, to be sure, but it's response correlation that will provide the competitive advantage promised by AIOps.
In this Tech Talk veteran technology journalist John K. Waters talks with Prashant Darisi, General Manager and Vice President of Critical Event Management in the Global Solutions group at Everbridge, about this important topic.
In this Tech Talk, you will learn:
- What AIOps is and how it is typically utilized
- How you can use AIOps techniques to gain efficiency and scale
- What Service Intelligence is and its impact on the end-customer experience
- Steps to maintain digital service resilience.
