Everyone's Home: Best Practices for Managing Your Newly Remote Workforce

"Your security concerns are my security concerns.” A simple statement to say, a tough one to address. The focus of this talk is to address three concerns of the new reality of remote workforce and digital collaboration.

All indicators are the workplace will never return to “the normal” as many say “the normal” is how we got here in the first place. It’s time for engagement from security leadership not a retreat. it’s time to propel our organizations into a secure, profitable and ecological sustainable future as we move rapidly into the post pandemic recovery. Adversity creates innovation and evolution.

The circumstances of the pandemic has forced many organizations out of their security comfort zone and into a land of high risk and now massive opportunity.

  1. The Challenge: Demonstrating security leadership during uncertain times
  2. The Situation: Hygiene & architecture are the keys to success
  3. The Opportunity: Infiltrating security into digital transformation projects

As recent high-profile attacks have demonstrated organizations continue to struggle to protect their data against cyber criminals and nation state backed actors. It is time for organizations to take a united approach and enlist the remote workforce in building more detection, response and resilience capabilities – everyone’s job depends on it.
