During Javier Ruiz's 20 year career, he has worked for several companies in the oil and gas and the energy sector providing high availability and disaster recovery solutions to meet business needs.

    Javier Ruiz, Manager of IT Infrastructure Services—Database Technology for Energy Transfer, will discuss his organization’s IT Automation journey as part of their DevOps transformation, requiring the support of multiple databases. During the session, Javier will explore how the organization is using Red Hat® Ansible® Tower as its automation solution, how automation helps his organization and the lessons learned along the way. He will show how his teams automated their day-to-day activities and streamlined DevOps operations to meet growing demand for database administrators’ operational tasks. He will also cover how these DevOps projects helped showcase automation across the company.
