Microsoft on Friday announced that it had released the final Parallel Data Warehouse version of SQL Server 2008 R2 to testers.
Even though the product will actually hit the market sometime in May, Microsoft will kick off a "launch tour" of SQL Server 2008 R2 on April 21, 2010.
Microsoft is betting its business on cloud computing, which will power everything from the Xbox and Windows Phone 7 to Windows, Office and a massive data center in a box.
