Microsoft Press last week released its official self-paced training kit for the 70-300 Analyzing Requirements and Defining .NET Solution Architectures exam. MCSD Self-Paced Training Kit: Analyzing Requirements and Defining Microsoft .NET Solution Architectures, Exam 70-300 (ISBN 0-7356-1894-1) provides scenario-based lessons and hands-on labs in line with the exam's objectives: envisioning a solution; gathering and analyzing business requirements; developing specifications; creating the conceptual, logical, and physical designs; and creating standards and processes. It retails for $69.99 U.S. and is available at http://www.microsoft.com/mspress/books/6460.asp.

The 70-300 exam is a required exam for the MCSD for Microsoft .NET track; there are currently 373 MCSD on .NET titleholders worldwide, according to Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/certified.asp).
