PowerPlugs is not a developer product in the strictest possible sense. But I think it's worth mentioning here anyhow: I can't be the only developer around who ends up doing presentations with PowerPoint on a fairly regular basis. What this package gives you is a whole stack of CDs to help make your PowerPoint presentations more effective and memorable.

Start with a choice of 30,000 new templates. Then you can add 3D animated title slides and 3D transitions with sound effects—think of some of the fancy titles you've seen on TV and in films and you'll get the idea. There's a robust charting tool with plenty of eye candy, new shapes, and animations for your photos. There's also a training CD titled "Slides that Win!" which goes beyond the mechanics of PowerPoint to teach you what works well in a presentation. You can also purchase the various packages separately if you don't need all the pieces.

Definitely worth a look if making presentations is a part of your job.
