IDC, Advantiv Join Forces to Accelerate Enterprise App Selection, Adoption

IDC and Advantiv Inc. announced a partnership aimed at improving the process of assessing, selecting, and implementing mission-critical enterprise application systems. The companies will combine their expertise to offer an Internet-based platform that provides software, a methodology, and intelligence on technology-specific topics.

Under the terms of the agreement, Advantiv will provide the software and infrastructure to power the solution, while IDC will provide intellectual capital on specific technology products, including feature function criteria, operating environment, and critical business issues. The partnership will provide customers with critical information and a structured environment to improve their decision process. The product is scheduled to be launched before the end of the year and will be available under IDC’s IT Advisory Tools product set. – Isaac Slepner
