Quest Releases New Tracking and Data Management Software

Quest Software has announced Schema Manager 3.0, an application development tool, and Data Manager 3.0, a database management tool.

Schema Manager allows users to create, track, and deploy schema changes throughout the application lifecycle. A new feature compares multiple schemas and database objects for large applications and ERP systems such as Oracle applications, reducing guesswork when applying patches.

Data Manager allows users to move and subset data between databases for testing and reporting. Some new features include support for SQLoader and support for SQL Server, enabling DBAs to migrate Oracle data to SQL Server for simplified data manipulation.
