Mission Critical Announces Systems Management Solution for Vignette StoryServer

Mission Critical Software (MCS) has announced a new ActiveKnowledge module that will provide integration between Vignette's StoryServer 4 and the Mission Critical OnePoint Operation Manager product. The ActiveKnowledge module for StoryServer will provide real-time monitoring of the health, performance, and availability of enterprise e-business sites, applications, and corporate Web communities powered by StoryServer.

The OnePoint ActiveKnowledge module for StoryServer will enable users to detect and resolve security problems, availability issues, changes in the application environment, and system errors. By providing real-time monitoring of StoryServer, Operation Manager delivers corrective action for potential problems before they impact the business. In addition, reporting on StoryServer uptime, resource consumption, and system usage provides customers with information for business analysis and capacity planning.

The OnePoint ActiveKnowledge Module for Vignette StoryServer will be available in the first quarter of 2000.
