Web Application Performance Testing

RadView's WebLoad 3.0 tests Web-based applications in a virtual environment without having to test it "live."

Web developers are rarely able to see how their Web applications might do in the real world until they test the site under public scrutiny. RadView Software's WebLoad 3.0 tries to provide the alternative to "real-world" testing, by simulating a production environment using "virtual clients." Clients are configured with specific behaviors and then are made to pound the Web site, while performance statistics are recorded.

WebLoad comes with tools for creating and editing JavaScript-based test definitions, predictive performance thresholds, and optimized load generation. WebLoad can test sites with DHTML, cookies, SSL, certificates, proxies, and passwords. It also integrates with Windows NT 4.0 Performance Monitor to track machine performance and resource usage.

WebLoad 3.0 starts at $4,000 for a license containing 100 virtual clients. RadView Software, Inc., 888-723-8439, www.radview.com.
