I need a new car. I like the Cadillac but I could save a lot of money if I buy a Geo. Sorry, Linux is not the answer. We like all the features and options.

I suggest users look at the latest release of Lindows which comes bundled with Open Office.
This will save bucket loads of cash

Being that I work in academia and the University has a Campus Agreement with MS, pricing is not a problem; I just paid $150 for W2K3 Standard.

You could always install your favorite distribution of linux and save a slew of money. ;)
