Second-Shot for MBS Exams

Similar to MCP retake offer, Microsoft Business Solutions exam candidates can take advantage of test retakes until June 30.

Candidates skittish about taking a Microsoft Business Solutions exam can take some comfort in the fact that Microsoft is offering, for a limited time, the chance to retake a failed test. The offer is similar to Microsoft's second-shot promotion for MCP exams.

The "Microsoft Business Solutions Certificate Second-Shot Offer" allows anyone taking and failing any exam toward a Microsoft Business Solutions certificate from March 7 until June 30, to retake that exam for free. According to information posted on the Pearson Vue testing site, candidates can retake an exam only once, and the retake can only be applied toward one failed exam. To be eligible for the retake offer, candidates must first register into the program. To view program details, go to http://www.vue.com/mbs/.

Candidates who fail an exam during the program period will receive an electronic voucher toward that exam. The voucher must be used before July 30, 2005.

Microsoft Business Solutions certificates are available for the company's line of business applications: Axapta, Great Plains, Navision, and Solomon. The program falls under Microsoft's ISV Software Testing Framework, which is aligned with the Microsoft Partner Competency program.
