Quest's Exchange Migration Wizard 3.5 has been enhanced to preserve continuous access to offline folders during migration, key for backing up Outlook .ost files. $15/user mailbox.

Active Voice Kinesis 2.7, an Exchange-based unified messaging system, adds Shared Extension Mailbox and Call Return features and plus IMAP integration.

Netriplex has implemented anti-fraud technology into its spam filtering service to combat phishing and spoofing via e-mail; starts at $59/month for up to 35,000 inbound e-mails, with discounts on higher volumes.

PowerHouse Programming's Outlook Security Agent provides client-side control of spam via white list and black list records.

ADvantage 2.5 from Javelina Software now includes a set of tools - Add Computer, Modify Computer, Delete Computer, Search and Replace Computer and Computer Reports - for managing computer accounts in Active Directory, as well as user-requested enhancements, such as the ability to customize lists for importing to reporting tools; $995 per admin copy.

Innovation Data Processing has released UPSTREAM Reservoir, an enterprise-class backup management suite that has agents for all flavors of Windows, Novell, OS/2, AIX, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, tru64, Linux and zLinux. It also supports a myriad number of tape, disk and robotic backup devices.

Broadcom's XelCore RAID Software has been updated with N-way mirroring, array splitting and array hiding, which allow copies of data to be made and then split off or hidden from the operating system.

LinkSys now offers Wireless Guard, a new service that the company says works "like an outsourced RADIUS server" to provide small business and home users with authentication services, on its Wireless-G Access Point WAP54G. The service is $3.99/user per month.

Finally, MCP Radio isn't the only game in town: TechNet Radio debuts its first audiocast on IT security, featuring Pete Bowden, US Corporate Security IT at Microsoft, and Michael Sharp, Director, Security Services & Information Security.
