I am an MCSE on Win2K and am looking forward to sitting for this exam as it is the final requirement for a security specialization on my MCSE. After checking several sites, and reading multiple seems the same as most of the Microsoft tests....some find them extremely challenging, while others find the same exams relatively easy....I quess it all really depends on your level of knowledge and experience with the given subject matter. The two certifications I found most difficult were 70-220 (Designing Win 2K Network Security) and 70-216 (Implementing a Windows 2k Network Infrastructure). Not that they weren't ALL tough....just that these two really required some "thinking on your feet" so to speak.

I also took the test yesterday. It was long as hell.... It actually had a lot of material as the MCSA beta 70-218 exam. Most of the newer stuff on that test was related to XP improvements in security and there a section in which Microsoft drilled you on Service pack deployment. I liked the inclusion of the service pack topic because none of the MCSE core exams included that.

took 70-214 test yesterday...hey MS guys have gone nuts! first: the invitation mentioned 220 minutes to take the test, actually i got 180. 90 questions: 2 minutes each question. All questions were long and complicated. i found out quite a few of useless information, just to confuse you, typical MS style.
2 minutes barely allow you to read the text once and gives no time to think about it. Not to mention not motherlanguage people. I do hope these are beta-only features!!! all i got is a quite frustrating sensation by taking this exam.

I am a 2000 MCSE and thought 7 of the 8 tests I took were very easy. This 70-214 test is extreemly hard and belongs more as a MCSD elective than MCSE. Where do the objectives mention troubleshooting visual basic scripts.
